Physician Consultation
A treatment-specific physician consultation provides time to discuss:
- Interest in the treatment
- Relevant medical history
- Whether further evaluation is required
- Potential benefits and limitations
- Important risks and contraindications
- Available alternatives
- The appropriate next step
A consultation does not guarantee eligibility or that the treatment will be recommended.
How the Process Works
- Speak with the Patient Care Coordinator.
- She reviews the treatment of interest and directs the consultation to Dr. Werde or Dr. Schreiber.
- The patient receives the current consultation details and the appropriate next-step instructions.
- After the required steps are complete, the patient receives a brief request for preferred consultation days and time ranges.
- The Patient Care Coordinator reviews the availability and calls the patient to schedule the actual appointment.
- The patient receives a separate appointment confirmation after the consultation is scheduled.
Completing the required pre-appointment steps does not automatically reserve an appointment time.
Consultation Details
Our Patient Care Coordinator will explain current financial arrangements, including any applicable credit, before you decide whether to proceed.
The consultation remains a professional service even if treatment is not recommended or the patient decides not to proceed.
Before Treatment
Some treatments may require additional laboratory testing, medical records, consent, or a Comprehensive Precision Evaluation before they can be prescribed or performed.
