Ozone Therapy

Medical ozone therapy uses a controlled mixture of oxygen and ozone administered through a physician-selected protocol.

High-Dose Ozone Therapy

High-dose ozone is a blood-based treatment.

A measured amount of blood is withdrawn into a closed system, exposed to a controlled oxygen–ozone mixture, and returned to the patient. This process is repeated during the treatment session.

High-dose ozone differs from EBOO because it treats blood in repeated cycles rather than continuously circulating it through an extracorporeal filtration system.

Ozone Insufflation

Ozone insufflation is a non-IV approach that administers a controlled oxygen–ozone mixture through a selected insufflation route.

The route and protocol are determined according to the patient’s medical evaluation and treatment plan.

An Individualized Protocol

The method, concentration, treatment frequency, and number of sessions are not the same for every patient.

The physician considers:

  • Medical history
  • Current conditions
  • Medications and supplements
  • Treatment goals
  • Potential contraindications
  • Response and tolerability

Ozone therapy may also be coordinated with other components of an individualized treatment plan when medically appropriate.

Is Ozone Therapy Appropriate for You?

Ozone therapy is considered only after physician evaluation. A consultation does not guarantee eligibility for treatment.

Important Information

Ozone therapy is not FDA-approved to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Evidence varies according to the method and clinical application.

It is offered as a physician-directed therapy and is not a replacement for medically necessary conventional care.

Ozone is not intended for pulmonary inhalation.
